Comfort & Fit
Rounded, form-fitting yoke that keeps the instructor securely and comfortably contained, especially around the shoulders.
Continuous webbing construction: each front reserve riser, main lift web, and leg strap is one piece; the diagonal backstrap runs continuously to the reserve riser.

Drogue Attachment
The drogue attaches between the main and reserve containers at the center of the instructor’s back, producing a perfectly balanced, horizontal freefall position.
Uses an inverted T-bridle (drogue-riser) that passes through the container and becomes the lower attachment points for the student harness.
As soon as the drogue is thrown, the student is pulled securely into the instructor.
Drogue load is carried directly by the harness webbing, not through the container fabric—eliminating stress, deformation, and the tendency of other systems to pull the rig off the instructor’s back.
Bridle is webbing (not Kevlar) for easy cutting with a hook knife if needed.
Double Main Container Protection
A secondary main container pin keeps the main closed until the drogue is released, preventing out-of-sequence deployment.
Positive Main Bag Extraction
The Racer Tandem drogue produces a measured 90 lbs of drag. At deployment this force acts as a reliable pilot chute, positively extracting the main bag and achieving full line stretch—exactly as sport systems do.
Unlike systems that deliberately collapse the drogue at release (often resulting in insufficient extraction force, lazy bag lift-off, line twists, off-heading openings, or bag locks), the Racer Tandem drogue remains inflated until after the canopy has left the bag.
Video-Friendly
Horizontal freefall position keeps the student’s face (not the top of their head) in frame for external camera flyers.
Comfortable freefall speed of 115–120 mph allows even heavier camera flyers to stay with light instructor/passenger pairs without large wings.
Easy to Pack
Packs nearly identically to a sport Racer (with the addition of the drogue attachment).
No excessive force required.
Smaller container size accommodates mains up to 400 sq ft.
Larger 1,000 cu in version available for canopies in the 500 sq ft range.
