Racer 2K3 One-Pin Harness & Container System
The Racer 2K3 One-Pin from Parachute Laboratories combines proven Racer engineering, secure canopy containment, and a comfortable, form-fitting harness design with a simplified single-pin reserve closing system.
This updated 2K3 configuration retains the strength, comfort, and safety features associated with the Racer while replacing the traditional two-pin reserve arrangement with a streamlined one-pin system. The single reserve pin simplifies the reserve closing configuration and allows an electronic automatic activation device to use one cutter instead of two, helping reduce equipment cost, replacement cost, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
The Racer 2K3 One-Pin is available exclusively with the externally mounted Pop-Top reserve pilot chute, offered in both 4-inch and 6-inch configurations. This design provides complete reserve-pin protection while keeping the pilot chute positioned for immediate access to the airflow during reserve deployment.
The 2K3 design also includes magnetic trough-style riser covers, strong main-pin protection, a protected main bridle, and a choice of pull-out or throw-out main deployment. Functional Velcro is eliminated from the 2K3 configuration for a cleaner, lower-maintenance system.
