D Series Tandem Reserve Canopies — Proven, Stable, and Mission-Ready

The TD3, TD4, and TD5 Tandem Reserve Canopies from Parachute Laboratories are designed to provide dependable openings, consistent landings, and strong handling characteristics across a wide range of operating conditions.

Built around a unique airfoil developed by John Sherman, the TD Series was designed for exceptional stability and reliability—even when lightly loaded or operating in high-wind conditions. The design has accumulated hundreds of thousands of jumps since its introduction with the Racer Tandem System.

The TD Series is constructed from 0–3 CFM Silktique and uses 1,000- and 1,500-pound Spectra lines.

Available configurations include:

• TD3 — 360 sq. ft., 9 cells

• TD4 — 400 sq. ft., 9 cells

• TD5 — 500 sq. ft., 11 cells

The published maximum exit weights range from 350 to 700 pounds, depending on canopy size. The TD Reserve Series is certified under TSO-C23c and SAE AS8015A Category B.

Designed to be capable and maneuverable—not simply a last-resort descent device—the TD Series offers the consistent opening and landing performance required for tandem, military, and special-mission applications.
