BaseX Canopy — Built for Fast, Predictable Openings

The BaseX by Parachute Laboratories is a purpose-built, 7-cell BASE canopy designed for fast, on-heading openings at sub-terminal speeds. It can also be configured for terminal openings, making it a versatile option for experienced jumpers operating across a range of environments.

Constructed from 0–3 CFM Silktique uncoated calendered 1.1 oz ripstop material and equipped with Dacron 550–650 lines, the BaseX features a 2.3 aspect ratio and an approximate 3:1 lift-to-drag ratio. Available sizes range from 180 to 300 square feet, with the appropriate size and wing loading selected according to jumper experience and landing-area requirements.
