Parachute Laboratories offers .202-inch (8mm) flexible stainless steel housing finished with a brass ferrule on each end for parachute, rigging, aviation, and other life-support equipment applications.
The housing is intended to provide release cable with a clean, protected, and easy routing path through the harness/container system or other mechanical-control installation. It helps guide the cable smoothly while protecting it from excessive bending, abrasion, and interference along its routing path.
Available in lengths starting at 1 inch and manufactured to virtually any length required, each housing is cut to the required dimension and finished with brass end ferrules for a durable, professional termination.
The housing is suitable for use with common three-ring release cable configurations, including:
Lolon 1/8" diameter yellow three-ring release cable — constructed from 1/16", 7 x 7 galvanized aircraft cable with a yellow coating that brings the finished diameter to approximately 1/8 inch.
Teflon 1/8" diameter orange three-ring release cable — constructed from 1/16", 7 x 7 galvanized aircraft cable with an orange Teflon coating that brings the finished diameter to approximately 1/8 inch.
